Dooku, Count and Dark Lord of the Sith.
8th December 2002
As proposed on the 3rd of October, I intend to discuss and outline the 'paths' that remain for certain Prequel Trilogy characters. Today, I want to focus on the Sith Lord, Count Dooku.
When we saw Lord Darth Tyranus in Episode II : Attack of the Clones, we were introduced to the concept of a 'Fallen Jedi', fore-shadowing what will happen to Anakin Skywalker.
Count Dooku, though, appeared to be allied to the Separatist cause. And from their point of view, he remains so. But the Jedi now regard him as a proponent of the Dark Side, and may also deduce that he is now truly a Sith Lord.
If this is the case, what will his role be in Episode III ? Will he remain a 'public' figure, leading the Separatists against the Republic ? Or will he move in the shadows, secretly directing their agenda, or acting solely as Darth Sidious' Sith Apprentice ? His purpose for the Separatists may have been purely to start them on their path of destruction, and two years on, his Sith Master may now have another task for him. Will it involve the cloners of Kamino ? Might he even be looking to recruit a new Apprentice to aid him in a coup against Sidious ? This is certainly an idea proposed by Darth Vader to his son on Cloud City.
And how will his demise come to pass ? At the hands of Anakin, echoing a similar setup in Episode VI ? Or by Mace Windu or Yoda ?
Count Dooku remains the enigma that introduced new questions into the Star Wars Saga ...

Riseforth, Lord Darth Vader !
1st December 2002
Could this scene be the defining moment when Anakin Skywalker ceases to be ? In the Virtual Edition of Episode III, the fallen Jedi has become ...
Darth Vader !

Forumer Jedi Jackson presents us with this powerful image that will set the stage for the events in Episodes IV, V, and VI. This version of the final chapter to George Lucas' epic Saga has been drawn together from various ideas submitted in the Virtual Edition's Discussion Forum.
