| About nine years have passed since the 'War of the Bogan' : the arcane and ancient Sith creatures that had been brought back into being by Darth Monstross had ravaged much of the Galaxy for two years until their Sith Holocron's destruction brought about their demise too. Following the Sith Lord's death on Had Abbadon, what was left of his Imperial Empire has now been reduced to the Imperial Remnant, a shadow of its former self, and directed by Governor Tagge. |
| Luke and Alana Skywalker, along with their peers, train a new generation of younger Jedi, the number of which had literally exploded into fruition following Leia Solo's singular journey into the Netherworld, where she defeated the ghosts of Darth Sidious and Darth Plagueis, and was able to reunite her estranged parents, Anakin and Padme Skywalker, and thus ending the Curse of the Younglings Massacre. Returning from such a journey meant Leia was discovering a new affinity with the Force that was unique to her alone. Now, her and Han's seven year old twin children are studying the Ways of the Force, just as their mother, uncle, and grandfather did before them. |
| As the Pan-Alliance slowly rebuilds the Galaxy, the challenges to Peace it faces range from negotiating a settlement with the Imperial Remnant, to protecting refugees from the scourge of opportunistic pirates. Unbeknownst to the Alliance and the Jedi, a particular group of Force-strong pirates have allied themselves to the Imperial cause, resulting in a policy of secret re-armament overseen by Tagge. |
